π Update on Final Fight's Premiere at SOHO Film Festival
Retired Brigadier General Loree Sutton joins screening for Q&A!
Weβre thrilled to announce that General Loree Sutton - psychiatrist, clinician and retired Brigadier in the U.S. Army - will be leading a post-screening discussion at the premiere of Final Fight in New York City!
Loree is a featured expert in the film who served for over 20 years. During her career she was responsible for all programs related to mental health and traumatic brain injury. From 2007 to 2010, Loree was the Army's highest-ranking psychiatrist and later became New York Cityβs Commissioner of Veterans Services from 2014 to 2019 under Bill de Blasio.
Recently General Loree Sutton joined Jonathan Alter on a discussion about PTSD here!
Final Fight: When the Trauma of War Comes Home premieres Monday, September 18th at 7:30pm at The Village East theatre in New York City as part of SOHOβs International Film Festival.
The film goes deeper than any documentary to date in revealing the root causes of this tragic epidemic by profiling a diverse group of veterans struggling with either combat or sexual assault-related Post Traumatic Stress, a major cause of suicide.
